When Bodibeua Willson came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Teelin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Willson couldn't finish the play. Aodh Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bodibeua Willson came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Teelin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Willson couldn't finish the play. Breck Caffrey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bodibeua Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teelin's Coileán McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Theodore Holt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Rollin Perth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drumfergus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teelin the free kick. After 34 played minutes Drumfergus got a freekick which was hit by Rollin Perth. Blake Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Breck Caffrey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teelin's Berkeley Ramsey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Teelin from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, Teelin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derin Walker to maneuver through the defense. Samueil Murphy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bodibeua Willson was the one to do the kick off. Bodibeua Willson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Teelin's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 56 minutes into the match, Teelin's goal looked a bit too open when Samueil Murphy came free, but Berkeley Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blake Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Teelin booed when Drumfergus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Holt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodore Holt took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkeley Ramsey. Berkeley Ramsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Drumfergus's Ryland Ryan got a free kick in the 80th minute. Reidy Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Drumfergus's Breck Caffrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bodibeua Willson in the 86th minute of play. Berkeley Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aodh Dempsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Drumfergus fully deserved thier win.
