Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Basil Moran got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Beara Bayes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Illanbaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Courthoyle the free kick. Bedilia Taylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinton Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Bedilia Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Quinton Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Courthoyle getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bow McPaul hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Courthoyle's Basil Moran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Basil Moran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barra Willson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Beara Bayes in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Courthoyle's Ross Palmer. 35 minutes into the match, Geoffrey McBrand notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Courthoyle's Quinton Lavine. Quinton Lavine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Quinton Lavine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brandan McOliver went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Barra Willson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basil Moran in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Illanbaun getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Beara Bayes hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geoffrey McBrand made a kick off. Geoffrey McBrand struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Quinton Lavine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illanbaun. Bedilia Taylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quinton Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If Ross Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 59th minute of the match Beara Bayes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Beara Bayes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 60th minute, Beara Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedilia Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Quinton Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basil Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bedilia Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Lavine having to interfere. Illanbaun played a much better game than Courthoyle and deserved their victory. The Courthoyle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
