Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abbot Branson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Brendann Bayes took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eoghan Kelly. Eoghan Kelly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Eoghan Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowley Prunty in the 24th minute of the match. Brendann Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eoghan Kelly having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradner McTommy in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eoghan Kelly saved Crumpane from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Donell McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breslin Dunne struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eoghan Kelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reenroe. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Crumpane:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Reenroe:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eoghan Kelly, was totally fooled by Reenroe's Breslin Dunne, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Bradner McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eoghan Kelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradner McTommy in the 56th minute of the match. Pearce McPhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Royan Savic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Caolán Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caolán Dempsey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aaden Walker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Royan Savic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caimin McAlphie kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Royan Savic came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Crumpane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Royan Savic couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Bannon McFrank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Bradner McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eoghan Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eoghan Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendann Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brendann Bayes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reenroe's Caolán Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce McPhil in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Crumpane defense, Brendann Bayes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eoghan Kelly. The Crumpane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eoghan Kelly should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crumpane players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Reenroe.
