Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kennedy Branson started the match with the kick off. Boudibiua Bayes kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Alfred Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bevan Holt struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Don Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strade. Salmon Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Don Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don Willson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salmon Hutton in the 20th minute of play. Brant Jameson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Strade got a freekick which was hit by Brannen Walker. Kennedy Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Reagan Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Salmon Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilcurry's Don Willson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Strade fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Strade's Salmon Hutton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salmon Hutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Barrett in the 51st minute of play forced Strade's goalkeeper Reagan Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Salmon Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salmon Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 58 in the game by Salmon Hutton from a close distance when the talented Don Willson managed to make a qualified save. Kilcurry's players were relieved. If Brannen Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bevan Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilcurry's Don Willson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salmon Hutton in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Strade's Thurl Cassin got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Kennedy Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilcurry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennedy Branson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Strade's Salmon Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Kennedy Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcurry's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennedy Branson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reagan Lester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salmon Hutton in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Don Willson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Salmon Hutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Strade booed when Kilcurry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Barrett didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salmon Hutton in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Don Willson saved Kilcurry from getting behind. Barrie Martyn's late challenge caught a Strade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barrie Martyn helped the player get up and apologised. Barrie Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Strade left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kilcurry.
