Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Glenlough's Cullan Robinson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colm Kirby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colm Kirby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmons Hunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dublin Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Colm Kirby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, Glenlough's Cullan Robinson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colm Kirby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colm Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cullan Robinson in the 20th minute of the match. Torran Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Cullan Robinson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dublin Athlétic™'s Colm Kirby. Colm Kirby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timmons Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Kirby having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timmons Hunt in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Colm Kirby saved Dublin Athlétic™ from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Timmons Hunt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dublin Athlétic™'s Colm Kirby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilian Kelly charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilian Kelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dublin Athlétic™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Colm Kirby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cullan Robinson in the 53rd minute. Glenlough's Belock Cronin got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timmons Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Colm Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Dublin Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Gilian Kelly. Cullan Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kyle Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flannery Tracy fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dublin Athlétic™'s protests and gave Flannery Tracy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Glenlough booed when Dublin Athlétic™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flannery Tracy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Glenlough's Darick Callaghan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Dublin Athlétic™'s Bradigan Cassin got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Cullan Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Dublin Athlétic™'s Colm Kirby got control of the ball when Cullan Robinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fiachra Delaney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Timmons Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Colm Kirby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmons Hunt in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colm Kirby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dublin Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Colm Kirby, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glenlough's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
