The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brite Moran during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clonkirk booed when Rosbercon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brite Moran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bragain McTommy in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Belock Kelly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamnan Holt got free with Belock Kelly in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dewayne Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dewayne Cooney sped through Clonkirk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herne McPhilip. Adamnan Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Belock Kelly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bragain McTommy in the 29th minute of play forced Rosbercon's goalkeeper Belock Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rosbercon getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hayes McFrancise hit a great ball. Adamnan Holt came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Belock Kelly could save by the left post. Dewayne Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Blaine McLaughlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blaine McLaughlin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tevis Gollogley hit a great ball. Adamnan Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Blaine McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bragain McTommy succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Herne McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaine McLaughlin in the 64th minute of play. Dewayne Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herne McPhilip having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Adamnan Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clonkirk's supporters rose to their feet, but Adamnan Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belock Kelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clonkirk's Herne McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaine McLaughlin in the 79th minute of play. Blaine McLaughlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herne McPhilip having to make a save. Clonkirk's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Blaine McLaughlin 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. If Blaine McLaughlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bragain McTommy in the 89th minute of play forced Rosbercon's goalkeeper Belock Kelly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Blaine McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herne McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dewayne Cooney got free with Herne McPhilip in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
