Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Herne McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brazil Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bragain McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Braoin Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Clonkirk's Bragain McTommy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braoin Mullan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazil Willson in the 13th minute of play forced Clonkirk's goalkeeper Herne McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Clonkirk got a freekick which was hit by Declan Jameson. After some careless play in the Clonkirk defense, Brazil Willson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herne McPhilip. The Clonkirk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herne McPhilip should have stopped the shot. Baird Walker's late challenge caught a Clonkirk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baird Walker helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Baralty getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Baird Walker hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Clonkirk's Bearchan Cooney broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Banban Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Banban Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Clonkirk getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Banban Lester hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clonkirk's Terence Caffrey got a free kick in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bragain McTommy in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braoin Mullan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Adamnan Holt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bragain McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Braoin Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Bernard Cooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barhart Beckett got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Herne McPhilip handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Baralty's goalkeeper Braoin Mullan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Baralty's goal looked a bit too open when Bragain McTommy came free, but Braoin Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Brazil Willson made a precise shot to the right of Herne McPhilip. Clonkirk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Brazil Willson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baralty's supporters rose to their feet, but Brazil Willson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herne McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 65 played minutes Barhart Beckett rounded Clonkirk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Clonkirk's Herne McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhart Beckett in the 69th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Clonkirk got a freekick which was hit by Declan Jameson. Herne McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brazil Willson went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Braoin Mullan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Clonkirk's Bragain McTommy. But to his dismay, Bragain McTommy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Bragain McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Braoin Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Baralty walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
