Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boyce Dalton made the kick off which started today's match. If Barclay McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Barclay McTom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newtownbarry FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raferagh the free kick. Raferagh's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Boyce Dalton scored to the left of an out of position Baird McJohn, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Raferagh getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bairthmead Palmer hit a great ball. Aaden Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tierney McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tierney McGlenn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaden Cooney went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Newtownbarry FC's Bairne Hughes got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aaden Cooney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raferagh's Baird McJohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Raferagh from getting a goal against them. Raferagh's Baird McJohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyce Dalton in the 30th minute of play. Aaden Cooney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boyce Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baird McJohn having to interfere. Bairne Hughes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Newtownbarry FC's zone, Aaden Cooney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tierney McGlenn came out of the goal and Aaden Cooney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Earnán Gillmour struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tierney McGlenn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raferagh. After a rather tough play, Newtownbarry FC's Raymond Keegan got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Fergal Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tierney McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tierney McGlenn came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Raferagh's Aaden Cooney. But to his dismay, Aaden Cooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 59th minute Boyce Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baird McJohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baird McJohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyce Dalton in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Newtownbarry FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Raymond Tierney hit a great ball. Tierney McGlenn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaden Cooney in the 62nd minute. After 65 played minutes Raferagh got a freekick which was hit by Bairthmead Palmer. Raymond Keegan was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Newtownbarry FC's Raymond Keegan got a free kick in the 67th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Raferagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bairne Hughes came free, but Baird McJohn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bean Todd was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, one of Newtownbarry FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Newtownbarry FC. The referee gave Raferagh a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donegan Cronin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newtownbarry FC's Tierney McGlenn. 2-3. Aaden Cooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Tierney McGlenn made a huge save. Boyce Dalton charged in rather forcefully in the 100th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyce Dalton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 100th match minute, Newtownbarry FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyce Dalton to maneuver through the defense. Donegan Cronin might have been able to make a better finish in the 101st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tierney McGlenn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donegan Cronin ran back to his position shaking his head.
