Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Banban McSteven kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banban McSteven in the 3rd minute of play forced Emyvale AFC's goalkeeper Bercan Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Dempsey took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barde Sheridan. Barde Sheridan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bera McSteven hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Glacknabrade's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn McSteven came free, but Barde Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barde Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Dempsey in the 18th minute of play. Glacknabrade's Banban McSteven got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Brenainn McSteven made a precise shot to the right of Barde Sheridan. Glacknabrade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Banban McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bercan Doyle having to interfere. In the 34th minute Banban McSteven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bercan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donegal Glen Crowe hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Tory McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roland Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Glacknabrade players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Emyvale AFC were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brenainn McSteven to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Glacknabrade's zone, Roland Dempsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barde Sheridan came out of the goal and Roland Dempsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glacknabrade's goalkeeper Barde Sheridan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Donegal Glen Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Banban McSteven struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Bercan Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glacknabrade. Roland Dempseys short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Barde Sheridan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, Berry Deans notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Emyvale AFC's Bercan Doyle. Bercan Doyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 76 in the game by Roland Dempsey from a close distance when the talented Barde Sheridan managed to make a qualified save. Glacknabrade's players were relieved. Banban McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bercan Doyle having to interfere. Emyvale AFC's Bercan Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banban McSteven in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Brenainn McSteven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brenainn McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barde Sheridan having to interfere. The Emyvale AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
