A collision led to glory fc getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Roland McNamara hit a great ball. If Robin Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Glacknabrade's goalkeeper Barde Sheridan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Deans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finnigan McJon in the 8th minute of play forced Glacknabrade's goalkeeper Barde Sheridan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When glory fc's Finnigan McJon in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glacknabrade's goalie prevented a goal. Barde Sheridan made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Robin Deans sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Finnigan McJon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. glory fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glacknabrade the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in glory fc's zone, Banban McSteven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sean Hamilton came out of the goal and Banban McSteven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Rowland McDonald managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kennedy Deans during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kennedy Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Finnigan McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Barde Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Banban McSteven notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of glory fc's Sean Hamilton. Sean Hamilton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banban McSteven in the 45th minute of play forced glory fc's goalkeeper Sean Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The glory fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glacknabrade were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finnigan McJon was the one to do the kick off. Banban McSteven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Sean Hamilton made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Declan Caffey made a precise shot to the right of Sean Hamilton. glory fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Robin Deans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Barde Sheridan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Banban McSteven came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Glacknabrade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Banban McSteven couldn't finish the play. Caoilte Scully's late challenge caught a Glacknabrade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caoilte Scully helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Caoilte Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glacknabrade's Bera McSteven couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for glory fc. Banban McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Glacknabrade got a freekick which was hit by Bera McSteven. glory fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Banban McSteven scored to the left of an out of position Sean Hamilton, making the score, 0-3. In the 93rd minute, Kevin Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glacknabrade played a much better game than glory fc and deserved their victory. The glory fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
