The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henry McWillie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henry McWillie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Brannon McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bressail Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blaine Hughes in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Brenainn Rutherford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louis Perth hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bressail Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blayne Ryan in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Rahtnnane's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Perth came free, but Brannon McGlynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brannon McGlynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry McWillie in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry McWillie in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannon McGlynn saved Rahtnnane from getting behind. Moyard FC's Louis Perth got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Moyard FC's Louis Perth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brannon McGlynn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Henry McWillie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rahtnnane's Brannon McGlynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henry McWillie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brannon McGlynn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Moyard FC's Carrig Hutton was substituted for Torran McGlenn. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry McWillie was the one to do the kick off. Blaine Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bressail Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Blayne Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rahtnnane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blayne Ryan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Moyard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine Hughes came free, but Bressail Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bhrighde Bayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry McWillie in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brannon McGlynn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 76 in the game by Henry McWillie from a close distance when the talented Brannon McGlynn managed to make a qualified save. Rahtnnane's players were relieved. Moyard FC's Louis Perth got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry McWillie in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannon McGlynn saved Rahtnnane from getting behind. After having played for 88 minutes, Blayne Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rahtnnane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blayne Ryan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Blaine Hughes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bressail Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blayne Ryan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bressail Robinson having to make a save. Henry McWillie kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Moyard FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rahtnnane throughout the match.
