In the 21st minute Herich McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ravan Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ravan Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ardmore Rovers FC booed when Kilbeggan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bracken Perth didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Boru McStephen came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Kilbeggan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boru McStephen couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ardmore Rovers FC's goalkeeper Ravan McStephen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kilbeggan booed when Ardmore Rovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daron Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Herich McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ravan Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 58 played minutes Herich McStephen rounded Kilbeggan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. If Boru McStephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the game, Kilbeggan's Boru McStephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ravan McStephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Todd Ghee hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Todd Ghee made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kilbeggan's Branagain McWillie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boru McStephen in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ravan McStephen saved Ardmore Rovers FC from getting behind. Harkin Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ravan McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Kilbeggan's goalkeeper Ravan Savic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daron Rutherford. In the 86th minute, Bracken Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ravan Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herich McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The long shot by Todd Ghee in the 90th minute really tested Ravan Savic's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herich McStephen in the 91st minute of play forced Kilbeggan's goalkeeper Ravan Savic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ravan Savic was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herich McStephen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 95 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ardmore Rovers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
