Kilmanaheen AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Breen Martyn 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Kilmanaheen AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bowen Mullan to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Barde Doyle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kieran Robinson to make any attempt to save it. Kieran Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breen Martyn in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Breen Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieran Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Churchvilla's Declan McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Kirby in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes in the game, Breen Martyn fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kieran Robinson having to interfere. Logan Kirby succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After a rather tough play, Kilmanaheen AFC's Abbot Morrison got a free kick in the 25th minute. Bearchan McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Robinson having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Breen Martyn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kieran Robinson, 3-1. Breen Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieran Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barde Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Benedict Morrison in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Churchvilla's Hugh Willson. Breen Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Robinson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Logan Kirby made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Fiachra Moran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Churchvilla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Logan Kirby scored to the left of an out of position Declan McWillie, making the score, 3-2. Declan McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eoin McJames in the 71st minute. If Barde Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Declan McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Churchvilla defense, Eoin McJames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Declan McWillie. The Churchvilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Declan McWillie should have stopped the shot. Kerrigan Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Churchvilla's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
