Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kilmanaheen AFC's Logan Kirby started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Reidy Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosmult's supporters rose to their feet, but Reidy Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Conaill Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Rosmult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conaill Frankson couldn't finish the play. Derry Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Rosmult getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bairthmead Doyle hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Bairrionn McIan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derry Hughes skillfully saved the ball. Gearóid Doyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kieran Robinson made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Logan Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Derry Hughes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gearóid Doyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kieran Robinson was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Gearóid Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Robinson having to interfere. Gearóid Doyle had several of the Kilmanaheen AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Kieran Robinson as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 33 played minutes Kilmanaheen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abbot Morrison. With his leg Kieran Robinson managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Rosmult's Gearóid Doyle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 47 in the game by Gearóid Doyle from a close distance when the talented Kieran Robinson managed to make a qualified save. Kilmanaheen AFC's players were relieved. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gearóid Doyle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kilmanaheen AFC's Boddibevve Robinson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Derry Hughes but with some difficulty. Kieran Robinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gearóid Doyle's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The Rosmult fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Rosmult's Gearóid Doyle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Derry Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eoin McJames in the 60th minute. If Conaill Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kieran Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gearóid Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Gearóid Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Tipraite McSteven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eoin McJames got free with Derry Hughes in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eoin McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Derry Hughes made a huge save. In the 78th minute of the match Piers Lavine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Derry Hughes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gearóid Doyle in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kieran Robinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derry Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bairrionn McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Logan Kirby rounded Rosmult's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 89th minute, Thom Rosenblum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Conaill Frankson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kieran Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearóid Doyle in the 95th minute of play.
