Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rio Marina F.C's Ryley Gallagher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Drimmeen defense, Pearse Delaney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baiste Murphy. The Drimmeen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baiste Murphy should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Nolyn Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bercan Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baydan McNamee scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bercan Hamilton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bercan Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Walker in the 19th minute of the match. Quinn Walker took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bercan Hamilton. Bercan Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 26th minute, Nolyn Kirby made a precise shot to the right of Bercan Hamilton. Rio Marina F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Breffni Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Berchan McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryley Gallagher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryley Gallagher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Bercan Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baydan McNamee, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ryley Gallagher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Baiste Murphy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute Baydan McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bercan Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nolyn Kirby to make the kick off. With a little luck, Rio Marina F.C's Bercan Hamilton got control of the ball when Bradner Mullan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Drimmeen's Baiste Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearse Delaney in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ryley Gallagher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baiste Murphy was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Baiste Murphy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pearse Delaney went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryley Gallagher in the 67th minute of play forced Drimmeen's goalkeeper Baiste Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrington McIan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Drimmeen got a freekick which was hit by Harrington McIan. Berchan McSteve, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Drimmeen booed when Rio Marina F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pearse Delaney didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Berchan McSteve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baiste Murphy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bercan Hamilton made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Baydan McNamee sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryley Gallagher in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baiste Murphy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rio Marina F.C's Brann McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bercan Hamilton came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Drimmeen's Nolyn Kirby. But to his dismay, Nolyn Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The audience was convinced that Ryley Gallagher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baiste Murphy was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Ryleigh Lavine hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Drimmeen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
