With an extended leg and a bit of luck Finbar Holt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Finbar Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Kirby in the 42nd minute of the match. Finbar Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Logan Kirby to make the kick off. Fionn Doherty kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Ricard McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Paudraig McPhilip notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ballinteskin's Farrell Hunt. Farrell Hunt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
