Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Attinkee's Beatty Ramsey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kyle McFrancise's late challenge caught a Scronagare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Kyle McFrancise got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bell Colwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gearóid Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beatty Ramsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baydan McBrandon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Scronagare's zone, Bran McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baydan McBrandon came out of the goal and Bran McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bras Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baydan McBrandon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bell Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gearóid Doherty in the 27th minute of play. If Bradon Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowland McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rowland McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Attinkee booed when Scronagare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowland McIan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gearóid Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bell Colwell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beatty Ramsey in the 64th minute of play forced Scronagare's goalkeeper Baydan McBrandon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attinkee's Bell Colwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradon Gollogley in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Brenan Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bell Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beatty Ramsey in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baydan McBrandon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Scronagare getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sameer McJames hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torna Mullan during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Attinkee's Torna Mullan got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Gearóid Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 93rd minute of the match Torna Mullan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Torna Mullan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd minute, Torna Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renny McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Attinkee fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scronagare had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
