Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tony Horner took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lenny Woodward's late challenge caught a Titchfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Woodward helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Titchfield booed when Great Ayton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Woodward didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Great Ayton United got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Woodward. After 7 played minutes, Titchfield's Lewis Pointon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lee Woodhead came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Titchfield reached it. Lee Woodhead showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Pickering in the 9th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Dave Boothroyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Tony Horner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Gulliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Jay Pickering who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Great Ayton United's Lee Woodhead was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jay Pickering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Pickering struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lee Woodhead didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titchfield. Lee Woodhead showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Boothroyd, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Alan Chegwyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Great Ayton United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Nat Stonebridge hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Lewis Pointon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lee Woodhead showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jay Pickering managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titchfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Pickering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Woodhead breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Titchfield booed when Great Ayton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alastair Downing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Great Ayton United's Lee Woodhead proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Great Ayton United from getting a goal against them. If Romeo Goodwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Alan Chegwyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Titchfield's Sammy Dwyer got a free kick in the 74th minute. Titchfield's William Gulliver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Chegwyn in the 75th minute of play. Lee Woodhead made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jay Pickering in the 87th minute. If Jay Pickering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Woodhead made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jay Pickering sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
