The supporters of Blackpool booed when Titchfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Ablethorpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Titchfield's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Pitt came free, but William Gulliver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titchfield were winning 0-1.

William Gulliver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Pitt in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jay Pickering could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Stu Oliver however easily saved by the left post. Timothy Pitt struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. William Gulliver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blackpool. After 68 minutes, Vernon Langley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blackpool and the Titchfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Stu Oliver got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Blackpool hanging dry this time. Jordan Knight kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Blackpool got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Griffiths. In the 97th minute, Lewis Pointon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blackpool's Stu Oliver didn't even have to move. The Titchfield players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
