Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carl Calder got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Ethan Cordingley successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Penistone City's zone, Jack West stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Cordingley came out of the goal and Jack West tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Graham Broad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Docklands FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Graham Broad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ethan Cordingley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Kyle Verity got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack West got free with Ethan Cordingley in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Penistone City's Ethan Cordingley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Penistone City from getting a goal against them. If Carl Calder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fraser Meechan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristopher Bancroft hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Docklands FC's Junior Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Meechan in the 30th minute of play. Graham Broad might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ethan Cordingley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graham Broad ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Carragher kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Graham Broad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Graham Broad rounded Penistone City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 43rd match minute, Penistone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Singleton to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Jack West notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Penistone City's Ethan Cordingley. Ethan Cordingley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54thth minute of the game Jack West who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penistone City's Ethan Cordingley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Junior Rogers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Penistone City's Fraser Meechan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Calder might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Junior Rogers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Calder ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 minutes of play, Penistone City's Fraser Meechan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Junior Rogers was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Docklands FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zackary Maston hit a great ball. Fraser Meechan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Junior Rogers. Junior Rogers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 85th match minute, Penistone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Calder to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Penistone City's zone, Jack West stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Cordingley came out of the goal and Jack West tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Penistone City's Carl Calder got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ethan Cordingley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graham Broad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Docklands FC could leave the field as winners, despite Penistone City having more of the ball for most of the match.
