Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Liam Woodcock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Woking FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Woodcock came free, but Stewart Rooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Woking FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Buster McGovern who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Buster McGovern got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stewart Rooney quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Liam Woodcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brett Middlewood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Stewart Moxey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Woodcock scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stewart Rooney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Bridge kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. John Bibbys short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Stewart Moxey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Woking FC booed when Kirkby in Ashfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Bridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Woking FC's goalkeeper Stewart Rooney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Woodcock in the 37th minute of play forced Woking FC's goalkeeper Stewart Rooney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If CJ Gilchrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dean Longstaffe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Moxey having to interfere. If Brett Middlewood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

CJ Gilchrist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Stewart Rooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Middlewood in the 58th minute of play forced Kirkby in Ashfield's goalkeeper Stewart Moxey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Bibby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brett Middlewood came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Woking FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Middlewood couldn't finish the play. Kirkby in Ashfield's Stewart Moxey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Bibby in the 66th minute of play. Liam Woodcock's late challenge caught a Woking FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liam Woodcock helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Kirkby in Ashfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Woodcock to maneuver through the defense. Stewart Rooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Woodcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, John Bibby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woking FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Bibby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stewart Moxey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kirkby in Ashfield booed when Woking FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Burgess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirkby in Ashfield were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Woking FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Buster McGovern took the corner. The corner led Kirkby in Ashfield's Rich Patterson to fire away a dangerous shot which Stewart Rooney despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Woking FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Woodcock came free, but Stewart Rooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Kirkby in Ashfield's Liam Woodcock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The Woking FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kirkby in Ashfield were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
