Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Heston AFC's Jacob Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duncan Saunders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Glenn Bartlett went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Onidek getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ted Hargreaves hit a great ball. When Heston AFC's Glenn Bartlett in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Onidek's goalie prevented a goal. Duncan Saunders came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Heston AFC's Glenn Bartlett. But to his dismay, Glenn Bartlett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Glenn Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Aaron Brayford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onidek and the Heston AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Onidek got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Brayford. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Bartlett in the 27th minute of play forced Onidek's goalkeeper Duncan Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Steadman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ivan Clement managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onidek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Clement was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zane Tyler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jacob Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Glenn Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Onidek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heston AFC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Steadman to make the kick off. Duncan Saunders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Santos's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Jacob Santos came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Heston AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Santos couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Heston AFC defense, Ivan Clement kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zane Tyler. The Heston AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zane Tyler should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Jacob Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heston AFC's Glenn Bartlett suffered a sore thigh after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shane Radcliffe during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, one of Onidek:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Onidek. Jacob Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Onidek's goal looked a bit too open when John-Paul Jobson came free, but Duncan Saunders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duncan Saunders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacob Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 76 minute of play. Ivan Clement sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Allan Steadman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. John-Paul Jobson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Saunders having to interfere. Zaq Whitworth's late challenge caught a Onidek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zaq Whitworth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 99th minute, Zaq Whitworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Onidek fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Heston AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
