In the 7th minute, Kevin Ashton collided with one of Biggleswade FC's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. In the 10th minute Zaq Tompkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Biggleswade FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. CJ Nicholson hit a great ball. Nailsworth FC's Carlton Towler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Biggleswade FC. If Verne McNiven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verne McNiven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Danny Blewett made a huge save. Sam Lambourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Blewett having to interfere. When Alex Dixon fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Biggleswade FC's protests and gave Alex Dixon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Alex Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Biggleswade FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Dixon. In the 33rd match minute, Nailsworth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Burgess to maneuver through the defense. Sam Lambourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Blewett having to interfere. Timothy Crossley charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timothy Crossley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timothy Crossley kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Carl Rowell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaq Tompkins in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Zaq Tompkins made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nailsworth FC booed when Biggleswade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Crossley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zaq Tompkins's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Carl Rowell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Danny Blewett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Lambourne in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Carlton Towler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carl Rowell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Verne McNiven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Biggleswade FC's Carl Rowell got control of the ball when Zaq Tompkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Dixon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Nailsworth FC booed when Biggleswade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Dixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Biggleswade FC's CJ Nicholson got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nailsworth FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
