In the 21st minute, Kristopher Munday hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piers Nethercot succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After some careless play in the Werrington defense, Orson Ronson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brad Cryer. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Werrington eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
