Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Poole's Brandon Butt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kendal City's Sly Dlyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Butt in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Kendal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Coburn to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Jason Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rob Gardner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sly Dlyan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Chris Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Holbrook having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Chris Hanson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ethan Holbrook was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rob Gardner took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sly Dlyan. Sly Dlyan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Rob Gardner came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Poole fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Gardner couldn't finish the play. Cliff Hurren's late challenge caught a Kendal City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cliff Hurren helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 minutes of play, Poole's Brandon Butt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sly Dlyan was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marek Longthorn to strike the kick off in the second half. Joe Sparkes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Rob Gardner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 60 in the game by Rob Gardner from a close distance when the talented Sly Dlyan managed to make a qualified save. Kendal City's players were relieved. Ethan Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Longthorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sly Dlyan stood somewhat misplaced when Brandon Butt came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 65 minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marek Longthorn during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Kendal City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Longthorn to maneuver through the defense. Sly Dlyan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Rob Gardner sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poole had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
