Denzil Greenman kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Fertus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pat Neville was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

Carmelo Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pat Neville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Crowngate getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Denzil Greenman hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Fertus in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pat Neville saved Crowngate from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Garry Shaw hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Crowngate's zone, Carmelo Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pat Neville came out of the goal and Carmelo Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Fertus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pat Neville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Barney Holyfield scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pat Neville, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gez Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pat Neville having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Fertus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pat Neville was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Jason Bridgeworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jeffrey Woodman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
