If Martyn Sharp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Glen Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niall Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. John-Paul Roche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mighty Minstermen - Leeds. Glen Cross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Niall Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen Cross who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of John-Paul Roche when he managed to save the team from getting behind. John-Paul Roche made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Glen Cross sent off a good shot on target. Niall Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Paul Roche having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Niall Ferdinand fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Barney Harland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martyn Sharp went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. John-Paul Roche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niall Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Joshua Ellis kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Glen Cross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Paul Roche having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niall Ferdinand to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Niall Ferdinand notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Brentwood AFC's John-Paul Roche. John-Paul Roche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martyn Sharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Barney Harland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rory Meechan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Martyn Slatter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brentwood AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mighty Minstermen - Leeds the free kick. A collision led to Brentwood AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Martyn Slatter hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Glen Cross sped through Brentwood AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John-Paul Roche. Andy Whitehead sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martyn Slatter kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. John-Paul Roche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glen Cross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Joshua Ellis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brentwood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Ellis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mighty Minstermen - Leeds had played much better football throughout.
