A collision led to Turow Harborough getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gus Plummer hit a great ball. Turow Harborough's Barrie Gomersall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Turow Harborough from getting a goal against them. Calum Bambrook recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Froggatt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Waite in the 39th minute of play. If Calum Bambrook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Langut SSA's goalkeeper Oscar Froggatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matt Waite was the one to do the kick off. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turow Harborough's goalkeeper Barrie Gomersall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Chris Webster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Wilson, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Oscar Froggatt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Waite, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Turow Harborough's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
