Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stuart Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Kempson having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Seaford's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Chapman came free, but Rowan Kempson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austen Bolton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lennie Alderson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stuart Wilson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Kempson having to interfere. Freddy Chapman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Kempson having to interfere. Freddy Chapman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rowan Kempson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Chapman ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennie Alderson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricky Croyden's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Rowan Kempson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Chapman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 39 minutes, Dennis Linford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paignton and the Seaford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Dennis Linford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Austen Bolton made a precise shot to the right of Lennie Alderson. Paignton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Stuart Wilson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rowan Kempson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ricky Croyden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Damian Fitzsymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paignton's zone, Austen Bolton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennie Alderson came out of the goal and Austen Bolton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Austen Bolton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lennie Alderson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fred Chandler charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Chandler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Fred Chandler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Verne Snowden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seaford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paignton the free kick. Rowan Kempson had in the 71stth minute some difficulties stopping Gary Walmsley's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Rowan Kempson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes into the game, Seaford's Damian Fitzsymon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lennie Alderson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 84 minutes into the match, Ricky Croyden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennie Alderson. Paignton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricky Croyden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rowan Kempson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Wilson in the 87th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Fitzsymon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seaford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paignton the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Seaford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Fitzsymon to maneuver through the defense. Austen Bolton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennie Alderson having to interfere. Seaford's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
