The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Britton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Glastonbury City's Archie Acton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Glastonbury City from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryan Fairs during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The tension between the Glastonbury City and the Diss United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Glastonbury City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tony Britton hit a great ball. Brad Blands short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Archie Acton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Archie Acton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Billy Shaw. Nathan Tanner kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Eddie Davison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Glastonbury City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diss United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
