Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Orson Crayon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's Wayne Best got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thomas Basterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Brent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS got a freekick which was hit by Simon Craven. In the 11th minute of the match Carlton Fox sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Basterfield skillfully saved the ball. Grant Hardcastle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orson Crayon in the 14th minute of the match. Rodney Wardle in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Basterfield, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Denis Brent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 21 in the game by Rodney Wardle from a close distance when the talented Thomas Basterfield managed to make a qualified save. CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's players were relieved. Rodney Wardle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Thomas Basterfield when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd match minute, CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayne Best to maneuver through the defense. Denis Brent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Thomas Basterfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Keelby got a freekick which was hit by Denis Brent. Rodney Wardle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Thomas Basterfield made a huge save. Thomas Basterfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Spurgeon in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Orson Crayon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodney Wardle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Denis Brent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodney Wardle struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Thomas Basterfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keelby. If Denis Brent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jo Hinshelwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Basterfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Wardle in the 76th minute of the match. CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's Thomas Basterfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Brent in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Jon Blewett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keelby the free kick. A collision led to CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jon Blewett hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in CHELSEA HEADHUNTERS's zone, Rodney Wardle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Basterfield came out of the goal and Rodney Wardle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Brent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Basterfield having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Keelby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Shipley to maneuver through the defense. After 86th play minutes Orson Crayon shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Grant Hardcastle and just under the crossbar into goal. If Rodney Wardle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Rodney Wardle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
