Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blair Medley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Romeo Chappell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Bailey in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Iain Pullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faversham City's Sammy Legzdins got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Chappell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Clifford, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Blair Medley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Faversham City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bryan Woodhouse hit a great ball. Vincent Beckett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Chappell. Faversham City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, East Dulwich City's Kirk Hargreaves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Chappell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 30th minute, Damon Clifford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Chappell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kirk Hargreaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Romeo Chappell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Blair Medley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Larry Walters was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Bryan Woodhouse charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Woodhouse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Faversham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Woodhouse to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Chappell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damon Clifford to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes East Dulwich City got a freekick which was hit by Iain Pullen. When East Dulwich City's Damon Clifford in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Faversham City's goalie prevented a goal. Blair Medley struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Larry Walters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Faversham City. In the 58th minute, Sammy Legzdins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Larry Walters. The goal made the score 2-1. Faversham City's Blair Medley got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Larry Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Legzdins in the 65th minute of the match. Rick Robinson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, East Dulwich City's Iain Pullen got a free kick in the 71st minute. Sammy Legzdins might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Larry Walters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Legzdins ran back to his position shaking his head. If Blair Medley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to East Dulwich City getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Stuart Afful hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Faversham City's Blair Medley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larry Walters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, East Dulwich City's Camron Bailey got a free kick in the 92nd minute. East Dulwich City's Larry Walters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Medley in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Bryan Woodhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faversham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Woodhouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Faversham City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
