Though ot was a great shot East Dulwich City's keeper Larry Walters was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The supporters of Scunthorpe United booed when East Dulwich City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camron Bailey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Max Legzdins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scunthorpe United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Legzdins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Kristopher Barker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scunthorpe United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Legzdins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Max Legzdins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Legzdins to make the kick off. The supporters of East Dulwich City booed when Scunthorpe United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Gamble didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, East Dulwich City's Vincent Beckett tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Calum Cullen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristopher Barker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Larry Walters having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Scunthorpe United's Max Legzdins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larry Walters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kristopher Barker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Larry Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Legzdins in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Kristopher Barker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Larry Walters was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 81st play minutes Max Legzdins shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Larry Walters and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Scunthorpe United's Robbie Reeve got a free kick in the 87th minute. Larry Walters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Barker in the 91st minute of the match. Kristopher Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Larry Walters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the East Dulwich City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Scunthorpe United.
