Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Don Silk started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vern Lynch in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Shilton saved Amberley United from getting behind. Don Silk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Horsell having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Don Silk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunstable City's Richard Horsell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amberley United's Will Shilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simeon Wheeler in the 16th minute of play. Will Shilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Wheeler, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Vern Lynch was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Dunstable City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 25th minute Simeon Wheeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Shilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Duckworth charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Duckworth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Amberley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Duckworth to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dunstable City getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dean Barfield hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Don Silk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunstable City's Richard Horsell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stan Titmuss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Horsell having to interfere. Don Silk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dunstable City's Richard Horsell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Silk in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Simeon Wheeler made the kick off in the second half. Simeon Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Shilton having to interfere. Travis Turner kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Will Shilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Wheeler in the 68th minute of the match. Don Silk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Richard Horsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simeon Wheeler struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Will Shilton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunstable City. Simeon Wheeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vern Lynch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simeon Wheeler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Shilton having to interfere. Vern Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Will Shilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
