Richie Radcliffe came out of the goal and Phil Woodman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Paddy Parslow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keiran Colton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 26 minutes, Phil Woodman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoke Newington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phil Woodman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richie Radcliffe made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Keiran Colton sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Keiran Colton notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Verwood FC's Richie Radcliffe. Richie Radcliffe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Verwood FC's Owen Waterhouse got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keiran Colton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richie Radcliffe having to interfere. Owen Waterhouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sid Cole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
