Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Derek Timiney made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Beaconsfield United booed when Lavendon United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Naylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Lavendon United's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Kempson came free, but Will Clough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield United's goalkeeper Eddy Rouse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Dunn. Derek Timiney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddy Rouse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When Garry Townsend came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Beaconsfield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garry Townsend couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derek Timiney in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddy Rouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Derek Timiney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lavendon United's Will Clough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garry Townsend in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Pete Kempson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaconsfield United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pete Kempson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lavendon United's Sacha Naylor got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Sacha Naylor off the ground. Sacha Naylor kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield United's Steven Sanderson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Lavendon United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marc Dunn hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pete Kempson to make the kick off. Garry Townsend sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Clough came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Beaconsfield United's Garry Townsend. But to his dismay, Garry Townsend quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Derek Timiney kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Beaconsfield United's Steven Sanderson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lavendon United. 0-2 became the score in the 73rd minute when Pete Kempson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Lavendon United's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Kempson came free, but Will Clough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Pete Kempson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beaconsfield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pete Kempson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Clough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derek Timiney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eddy Rouse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marc Dunn came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lavendon United fans jumped to their feet.
