Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joe Hogg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Bentham in the 2nd minute of play forced Hendon United FC's goalkeeper Matt Goldthorpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Henry Bentham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wayne Goodman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richmond FC's goalkeeper Rich Oatway, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rich Oatway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Hogg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Jeffrey Currie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richmond FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeffrey Currie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Jeffrey Currie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matt Goldthorpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Currie in the 20th minute of play. Trey Elwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rich Oatway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Richmond FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jools Whittingham to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Richmond FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bowland. Trey Elwick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Rich Oatway skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeffrey Currie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jeffrey Currie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richmond FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffrey Currie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matt Goldthorpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeffrey Currie made a kick off. Jeffrey Currie had several of the Hendon United FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Matt Goldthorpe as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hendon United FC's goalkeeper Matt Goldthorpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Richmond FC's Ivan Blewitt got a free kick in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom Kent during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matt Goldthorpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeffrey Currie went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Henry Bentham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Matt Goldthorpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henry Bentham might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matt Goldthorpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Bentham ran back to his position shaking his head. Matt Goldthorpe made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Joseph Rowe sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 74 minutes, Trey Elwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hendon United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trey Elwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes Hendon United FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Armitage. If Jeffrey Currie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeffrey Currie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Hendon United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Hogg to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Bowland got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 89 played minutes Richmond FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bowland. In the 95th minute, Warren Kirkpatrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
