Eric Mann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Eric Mann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Curtis Gallacher. Waterfoot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Mann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With his leg Curtis Gallacher managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Manchester City's Richard Fleming fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Fleming stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Vance Rogers put in a rough tackle. When Benji Rayner came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Waterfoot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benji Rayner couldn't finish the play.
