Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Barrie Kennedy made the kick off which started today's match. Jerome Mulford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Waterhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camron Hinshelwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Morley having to interfere. Barrie Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Matthew Morley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Buxton scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerome Mulford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Wellingborough AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Buxton came free, but Jerome Mulford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerome Mulford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Waterhouse in the 23rd minute of the match. Patrick Housham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Wellingborough AFC's Camron Hinshelwood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Morley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barrie Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kismaayo FC's Matthew Morley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barrie Kennedy in the 42nd minute of play. Jerome Mulford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Buxton, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ray Waterhouse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wellingborough AFC's Jerome Mulford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Waterhouse in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wellingborough AFC's zone, Ray Waterhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerome Mulford came out of the goal and Ray Waterhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Ray Waterhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Wellingborough AFC booed when Kismaayo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Easton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Barrie Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Morley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Barrie Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wellingborough AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barrie Kennedy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dom Legzdins kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Jerome Mulford successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Camron Hinshelwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wellingborough AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Camron Hinshelwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Morley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camron Hinshelwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
