Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Russell Lansdell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dom Jones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barrie Hicks in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Malmesbury got a freekick which was hit by Zak Nash. Graeme Clarke kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Malmesbury's zone, Barrie Hicks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dom Jones came out of the goal and Barrie Hicks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dom Jones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Panther in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Eston booed when Malmesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Clarke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrie Hicks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Malmesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Jordan Panther came free, but Dom Jones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dom Jones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Panther in the 25th minute of play. Eddie Lister kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jordan Panther sped through Malmesbury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dom Jones. Barrie Hicks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Jones having to interfere. Barrie Hicks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dom Jones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dom Jones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jordan Panther's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Jordan Panther made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Russell Lansdell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmesbury's supporters rose to their feet, but Russell Lansdell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Cooke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Russell Lansdell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Barrie Hicks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eston's supporters rose to their feet, but Barrie Hicks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dom Jones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordan Panther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dom Jones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trey Rigg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Harvey Morris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malmesbury fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jordan Panther managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eston's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Panther was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dom Jones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordan Panther's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dom Jones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Jordan Panther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jordan Panther struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dom Jones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eston. Barrie Hicks might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dom Jones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barrie Hicks ran back to his position shaking his head. Zak Nash kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Trey Rigg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Malmesbury's Norman Cusack couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Eston. In the 97th minute Jordan Panther shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Jones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malmesbury succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Eston had controlled the match.
