Lewis Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Mortlock having to interfere. After the first half Maniac City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Barnes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Mortlock saved Horsham AFC from getting behind. In the 81stth minute of the game Lewis Barnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horsham AFC's Dominik Mortlock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
