Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ed Wishart kicked off to start the match. Ed Wishart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rhys Laycock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, CJ Furlong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maniac City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knutsford United the free kick. 15 minutes into the game, Aaron Nightingale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nathan Rundell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anthony Shilton charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Shilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nathan Rundell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Nightingale in the 23rd minute. Lewis Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nathan Rundell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Nightingale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Nathan Rundell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Lewis Barnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Rundell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Nightingale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Nathan Rundell made a huge save. After having played for 38 minutes, Aaron Nightingale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maniac City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Nightingale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lewis Barnes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan Rundell saved Knutsford United from getting behind. Nathan Rundell made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Aaron Nightingale sent off a good shot on target. Knutsford United's Nathan Rundell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Knutsford United from getting a goal against them. In the 49th minute, Deon Jowsey sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Knutsford United's Nathan Rundell didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lewis Barnes was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Nightingale struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Nathan Rundell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maniac City. 61 minutes into the match, Maniac City's Lewis Barnes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Rundell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knutsford United's goalkeeper Nathan Rundell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rhys Laycock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Naisbitt went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tommy Naisbitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knutsford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Naisbitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Laycock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lewis Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Rundell having to interfere. Nathan Rundell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Furlong went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Aaron Nightingale came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Maniac City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Nightingale couldn't finish the play. Knutsford United's Nathan Rundell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Nightingale in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Knutsford United's Des Bale got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Maniac City's Aaron Nightingale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nathan Rundell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 93rd minute of the match Johnathan Brimble sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan Rundell skillfully saved the ball. Aaron Nightingale might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathan Rundell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Nightingale ran back to his position shaking his head. Maniac City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
