Gregory Brook struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Austen Jordan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mason FC. After some careless play in the Mason FC defense, Rio Fearns kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierce Meehan. The Mason FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierce Meehan should have stopped the shot. If Glenn Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perry Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Austen Jordan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perry Barker might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Austen Jordan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perry Barker ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierce Meehan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Foster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierce Meehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Fearns in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Eddie Foster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pierce Meehan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Glenn Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaun Sparks during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Mason FC got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Sparks. Rio Fearns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pierce Meehan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn Clifford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Foster got free with Pierce Meehan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eddie Foster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, liverpool22's Billie Wilkes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Austen Jordan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Bush in the 55th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Perry Barker notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of liverpool22's Austen Jordan. Austen Jordan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute, Glenn Clifford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Austen Jordan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Barker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
