Steven Ashby made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Rod Barratt sent off a good shot on target. Rod Barratt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Steven Ashby made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Ashley Darnbrooke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Neil Grantham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hornsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bredon City the free kick. Neil Grantham kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Marty Bell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hornsea's Steven Ashby didn't even have to move. 20 minutes into the match, Hornsea's Neil Grantham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duncan Crouch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, Bredon City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Clough to maneuver through the defense. Duncan Crouch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Reid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Casey McNiven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Ashby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Barratt in the 33rd minute of the match. Casey McNiven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Crouch having to interfere. If Dylon Maylett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rod Barratt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dylon Maylett was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Hornsea's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dylon Maylett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hornsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylon Maylett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Crouch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casey McNiven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Duncan Crouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dylon Maylett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casey McNivens short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Duncan Crouch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Duncan Crouch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylon Maylett, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Duncan Crouch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casey McNiven in the 77th minute. Casey McNiven's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Duncan Crouch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bredon City's goalkeeper Duncan Crouch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rod Barratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duncan Crouch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashley Darnbrooke in the 90th minute. Dylon Maylett received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Duncan Crouch came out and tried to block the shot, but Dylon Maylett slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Hornsea could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bredon City throughout the match.
