Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Max Hellen made the kick off which started today's match. If Rob Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Handforth AFC's Max Hellen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to Handforth AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nicky Caton hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Martyn Fleetwood sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Handforth AFC's Jake Stiles didn't even have to move. Patrick Camfield charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Camfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Fox got free with Jerome Barrow in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodney Searle kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jake Stiles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micheal Sawyer went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ironville United's Jerome Barrow proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ironville United from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Max Hellen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerome Barrow. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. Handforth AFC's Max Hellen suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kristopher Rush charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristopher Rush the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th minute, Kristopher Rush hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ironville United's Rodney Searle got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gav Plumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gav Plumber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Gav Plumber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ironville United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gav Plumber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Micheal Sawyer to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Micheal Sawyer lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Jake Stiles. 55 minutes into the match, Handforth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Micheal Sawyer came free, but Jake Stiles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Micheal Sawyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Stiles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jake Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micheal Sawyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Ironville United's Micheal Sawyer in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Handforth AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jake Stiles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micheal Sawyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Gav Plumber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Handforth AFC's zone, Gav Plumber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Stiles came out of the goal and Gav Plumber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jake Stiles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micheal Sawyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Gav Plumber could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Jake Stiles however easily saved by the left post. Ironville United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
