Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Brian Blewett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norton Radstock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Austin Hird showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bourton, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Norton Radstock's Brian Blewett made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Austin Hird was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stew Birch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teddy McDonald's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Austin Hird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Blewett in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Norton Radstock's goalkeeper Stew Birch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miles Lister. Brian Blewett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Austin Hird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Lineker walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Stew Birch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy McDonald in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Miles Lister cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Stew Birch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 46 minutes, Miles Lister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tzarevetz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miles Lister was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Brian Blewett made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Tzarevetz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Blewett came free, but Austin Hird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Stefan Bourton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norton Radstock's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Bourton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austin Hird breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miles Lister in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stew Birch saved Norton Radstock from getting behind. Stefan Bourton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Hird having to interfere. Tzarevetz FC's Austin Hird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Blewett in the 80th minute of play. When Tzarevetz FC's Miles Lister in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norton Radstock's goalie prevented a goal. Stefan Bourton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Austin Hird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Hinchcliffe's late challenge caught a Norton Radstock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sammy Hinchcliffe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Sammy Hinchcliffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Blewett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Austin Hird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy McDonald scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stew Birch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
