Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dominic Kellaway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Miller's late challenge caught a Ashton-in-Makerfield City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lance Miller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Rangers FC's Lance Miller got a free kick in the 25th minute. 34 minutes into the match, The Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Kellaway came free, but Dennis Firth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Sills in the 88th minute of play forced Ashton-in-Makerfield City's goalkeeper Ronnie Rayner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Carter kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Bart Baldwin, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ronnie Rayner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Sills in the 92nd minute of the match. Andre Carter hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Ashton-in-Makerfield City's Ronnie Rayner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Ashton-in-Makerfield City from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Rangers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
