Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anthony Maxell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. John-Paul Mallon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Dothery in the 6th minute of the match. Anthony Maxell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. John-Paul Mallon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anthony Maxell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shane Ball in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Malcolm Oliver notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Liskeard's Jerry Thomas. Jerry Thomas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liskeard's Anthony Maxell got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Graeme Pitt took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Mallon. John-Paul Mallon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. John-Paul Mallon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Maxell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerry Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Ball, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jerry Thomas was a little too slow when Shane Ball got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. John-Paul Mallon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Pitt in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Jerry Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Oliver in the 58th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Shane Ball made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Liskeard's Jerry Thomas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Shephard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Thomas having to interfere. Liskeard's Jerry Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Oliver in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Adhesive Alligators's zone, Anthony Maxell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John-Paul Mallon came out of the goal and Anthony Maxell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Liskeard booed when Adhesive Alligators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Llewellyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. John-Paul Mallon made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Graeme Pitt sent off a good shot on target. Malcolm Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane Ball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Thomas having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Martin Llewellyn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adhesive Alligators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Shane Ball struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jerry Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adhesive Alligators.
