Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doğuhan Metiner kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Stewart Stayton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donald Wilson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vic Bond charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vic Bond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donald Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Stayton in the 12th minute of the match. If Stewart Stayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Perivale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Campbell came free, but Rex Moorhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Hugh Cambridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vance Billing fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Workington AFC's protests and gave Vance Billing a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Workington AFC's Vance Billing got a free kick in the 18th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Stewart Stayton sped through Workington AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donald Wilson. Anthony Darling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Donald Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vic Jones hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dane Bridge got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vance Billing. 40 minutes into the game, Kelvin Dolby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perivale AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Workington AFC the free kick. In the 41st minute, Kelvin Dolby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğuhan Metiner got free with Rex Moorhouse in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kelvin Dolby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Perivale AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Stewart Stayton made the kick off in the second half. Stewart Stayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Perivale AFC booed when Workington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Bridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donald Wilson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cliff Mann. Stewart Stayton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Donald Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes of play, Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rex Moorhouse was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Workington AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Vance Billing made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Perivale AFC's Hugh Cambridge. Stewart Stayton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Donald Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Doğuhan Metiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivale AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
