Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louie Crosby started the match with the kick off. When Doğuhan Metiner came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Workington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuhan Metiner couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Louie Crosby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Doğuhan Metiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavin Baker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Joshua Murray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Golders Green United's Joshua Murray got control of the ball when Doğuhan Metiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Golders Green United booed when Workington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vic Jones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Workington AFC's Ashley Gough got a free kick in the 30th minute. Adam Hodges hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to Golders Green United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dave Pitt hit a great ball. Joshua Murray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Dalby in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Dave Pitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joshua Murray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Dalby in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Jim Barber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golders Green United and the Workington AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Workington AFC made a substitution. Dean Farrell replaced Doğuhan Metiner. 61 minutes into the game, one of Golders Green United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joshua Murray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dean Farrell's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Oliver Dalby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joshua Murray. Golders Green United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliver Dalby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Neil Byfield kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Workington AFC's Dean Farrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joshua Murray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliver Dalby struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Joshua Murray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Workington AFC. Joshua Murray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Dalby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dean Farrell in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joshua Murray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 91 minutes, Dean Farrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Workington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dean Farrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavin Baker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Joshua Murray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dean Farrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Murray was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Workington AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
